A Memory Of Riverview Heights

Ever since November of 1989, I have lived in apartment complexes. Before moving to HUD/WHEDA subsidized apartments, I lived in Village Green Apartments with a roommate while in the UCP Apartment Living Program, then I moved to N Palm Street with a different roommate, and then I moved to Burbank Plaza Apartment Complex when it was still called Teamster Manor for a few years, then I moved to Garden Court. Now, as of aOctober 1, 2026, I will be moving to Riverview Heights which has been around for 50 years I believe. I remember spending the night at Riverview Heights one week when my mom and dad helped friends who managed the apartments because they went on vacation. My brother and I were in grade school at that time in Milton, Wisconsin, so mom or dad would drop us off at school and picked us up that week to go back to the apartment for the night. Because Riverview Heights did allow grandchildren to visit relatives at anytime, children could not live there. So Greg and I had to be quiet and behave. To tell you the truth, children at age 7 & 10 going onto 8 and 11, it is difficult to sit still and behave, right? Right! Elevators and pushing buttons were my interests at thst age. I did get in trouble or anything, but I can say I should have, lol.
