At this time "Grandpa Van" is still with us but he is unconscious to the world around him.  He is home with his son and his daughter-in-law with family around him.  Despite his fight, the family is doing everything they can until Grandpa Van's passing away from this world altogether.  I have already seen him while he was in the hospital last Saturday - three days before he released and taken home to live out his last days with family all around.
