I have been at dialysis since shortly before 11:30 AM. Wednesday was a good day, and today seems to be running smoothly. The techs and nurses are learning how to use the Fresenius machines. I find the dialysis contraptions pleasant and easier on the eyes. The old Gambro machines were more complex. These newer machines are not as complicated and problematic. Being a fan of computerized gadgets since I was a little girl does help those who are not fans of computerized devices. I have used Windows in the past, and now an Apple user. I need to get back on track with my treatment.
The dialysis machine has been behaving itself today. I can go to my journal or this case, a diary; my world is sunny again. The internet is still not up and running yet, but maintenance is working on the situation as fast as they can. My phone allows me to access Grammarly, my diary at Dear Diary, but as far as reaching YouTube, Twitter, and Messenger, my phone is a little touchy at times. It depends on where I am at. AT&T sucks. AT&T is my cell phone carrier.
With JP on vacation, DH is back, helping me get ready for the day. She’s back! Woo hoo! I am happy. I hope she, JP, enjoys her vacation with her family this week. She will be back next Sunday, July 29th.
Getting to dialysis earlier than 11:30 AM has its perks and drawbacks. Although the machine is not having issues now, it does not always mean I will get off precisely 2 hours and 45 minutes later. Today it looks like I am getting off a little bit earlier. I believe the machine is beginning to like me and my catheter. My spirits are up today. I was starting to worry about the device for a while. I was getting frustrated and scared.
It looks like I have 1 hour and 18 minutes left to dialyze. I will be getting off early. I am breathing easy. My weekend begins soon—woo hoo!
I will write more later.
