Although I do not a lot in my Garden Court Journal too often, I will get the chance occasionally. Today is one of those days to write something about Garden Court without being a damn gossip. Oh, how I hate to be a part of gossip. I have been a victim of vicious and nasty gossip among elderly tenants who enjoyed causing grief to others when I first moved to Burbank Plaza. In 1998, Burbank Plaza was Teamster Manor. Garden Court will not be my home too much longer. Riverview Heights has some openings coming up here in the next few months, and my name is coming up shortly. I have to wait to leave this bad place we thought was the perfect place in 2020, but in 2022, things changed my mind and the past two years have been an emotional roller coaster 🎢 ride for me to the point that trusting management and maintenance has become non-existent in my life. My life here has been rough.
It has been a while now, but I have not heard from my friend Catie Doran. I called one day over a month ago and never heard back from her. I guess I will wash that friendship and let Catie live her life without me in her life and Catie being in my life. I guess I will love her in secret from this day forward and be kind to her when we connect. The friendship was an up and down ride anyway. It is not a total loss.
The latest crap that is going on at Garden Court is the maintenance and management staff did not salt or shovel the walkways for the tenants. We had our first snowfall this morning, too. Other tenants were making the walkways better for the tenants who use walkers, power chairs and scooters, and canes. It is not the responsibility of other tenants to do the work for management and maintenance.
Also, the latest gossip is Janessa O is dating another tenant and is smoking. A friend of mine was told that if she does not keep her apartment cleaner, she is going to lose her cat Tuxedo (Tux). Oh, boy, not good! Also, Janessa has gotten a dog as an emotional support animal. Oh, great, she is barely home, and her cat Bella is watched by others.
