I got home from dialysis a little after 1 PM, took my coat off, grabbed lunch out of the freezer and fridge, called my boyfriend’s Mom to let her know I was home and getting ready to eat. By 2:15 PM, TB and KB were here to have worship with me for about an hour; then, I had the rest of the day to myself until bedtime loomed. I have found sitting on my couch a little uncomfortable, so I decide to sleep in the bedroom tonight. I am even thinking of going to bed early to lay back a little and rest my entire body. Getting up from my couch has been a challenge lately. Getting up to get up is not always easy after dialysis, but eventually, I am standing up. See? My life is full of challenges these days – lately, whether I like it or not.
