It has been 21 years since my kidney transplant and next Thursday I have an appointment with my kidney specialist Dr. P. For the first time in years, I am actually looking forward to going to my appointment next week because I have yet to meet my kidney coordinator SL. I can not believe that it has been 21 years since my kidney transplant and the fact about the kidney's actual age is amazing as well.
