I did call AT&T and will be getting a new modem on Monday. So having to wait too long is not going to happen. I can live with the Netgear's minor trouble - cutting in and out - from time to time while I am online over the weekend will be just fine. It is no big deal because the things do break down or quit working properly when used a lot and I believe that is what happened to my Netgear. It is just frustrating at times, though, but those frustrating moments are going to be short lived. With my panic and anxiety disorder I do have, I have been calm and cool about it - for the 1st time in a long time.
