JP came today at 8:09 a.m., got me to the bathroom, and settled in my recliner, where I ate my breakfast sandwich of eggs, Turkey sausage, and cheese on a bagel thin bread. Yum! She left at 8:50 a.m. and returned by 11:30 a.m. I had lunch while she did a couple of loads of my laundry. She put my laundry away, ran to the bathroom again, and then got into bed for the rest of the day and evening watching Murder, She Wrote on Roku Live TV. JP left at 2:15 p.m., leaving me to my own devices for the rest of the day. I have had a beef and bean burrito, cheesy Chex mix, and Thin Mint cookies for dessert. What a fantastic night.
JP’s Story of the Day
Since our neighbor has had trouble with her worker this week, JP has come in with another story that surprised me. JP stated that our neighbor is at St. Elizabeth’s because her worker took her and put her there. My neighbor’s POA is her worker and payee. My neighbor is in a company under ADRC called My Choice. Wow!
Anyway, the story continues…
JP talked to a worker who works with a couple of sisters living in Garden Court, and worker H stated that the neighbor told the social worker that she did not want to see her worker DB because she was afraid of her. Good for you, girl! I hope and pray you stick to your guns about DB now. I hope you will come home soon. Also, DB did not bring her any clothes from her apartment, and DB has my neighbor’s keys. Hmmm?
My Thoughts of the Story
While remembering what JP said, I am glad DB is out of my life. What DB did to my neighbor earlier this week is considered elder abuse, and taking her to St. Elizabeth’s without some clothes was disgusting--it made me feel sick to my stomach.
