As July 2017 has moved on and will never be seen again except through memories made by all of us on earth, I do have to admit that my summer is almost over.  I am not going to argue how my month of July went except for the fact that I feel I have ridden some doozy roller coasters and did keep my head above water long enough to be rescued and survive some emotional upsets.  In fact, I am still very upset about IDS (Independent Disabilities Services) closing at the end of September on the 28^th.  I have been with that program for 10 years or so, and I am going to be losing some good support from IDS.  DB, who is my DSP (Direct Support Professional) will continue to work for/with me after September 28^th as I will/have hired her as my employee through IRIS (Include, Respect, I Self-direct).  I do have to admit that I am not going to allow myself this week to be stressed.  I am going to take this month and be serious!
