Magic is going to be a year old on April 30, 2021. He was five months old when I adopted him from our local animal shelter at the Rock County Humane Society on October 6, 2020. My second cat crossed the rainbow bridge on September 28, 2020, and I was dealing with the quiet in my home badly that the deafness was excruciating to the ears and mind. I am happy to have Magic kitty here, even though, at times, I want to scream at the top of my lungs of frustration because he has so much energy and attitude. It has not been a mistake adopting him. It was thirty-one years ago since I had a kitten to watch grow up. I'd do it again if necessary, but only one cat at a time. Money can be an issue from time to time as I am on a fixed income. Magic is my baby for the rest of his life.
Now, you are probably wondering why I have brought Magic up today, this afternoon. I have an update about him. He has grown up and is becoming a cat at a reasonable pace. He's wild yet playful. He has broken some trinkets, but not on purpose. On Sunday, I found something broken by his food dish, and when DKF came to check on us, I found out it was his water dish, a Correll bowl from one of my dish sets. Oh my goodness! Magic is eleven pounds and heavy. I love him so much.
