When it comes to my dialysis weekends, Sunday and Monday are it for me. Today is Monday, I have had my cares with DKF, got dressed for the day, got my groceries at Wal-Mart. I love the grocery pick up service. I have been using it ever since it began. It works well for me. DKF got my groceries put away, and watched TV with me for a little while and then left, leaving me for the rest of the day after 10:45 AM to get to her next IRIS client by 11 AM. I just laze about, watch TV, and do my best to do stuff online. My Mondays are usually lazy days after DKF helps me with my bathing. I love my Mondays. Today I got out to Wal-Mart. As my day continues toward bedtime, I can now say that I have had a nice and wonderful day. Even though I have dialysis three times a week, and yes, I am writing about it here, I still feel I have a full life. It takes three hours and 15 minutes of my time to sit in a recliner chair out of my day, but it is worth it.
Sometimes or most of the time, depending on what is going on, I can write about one thing and go off in a tangent about another in the same paragraph. Please forgive me for that. My brain can sometimes get fixated on one thing for a good length of time. Now it is time for me to say good night and get some sleep. It is not past my bedtime, but I do need to get going so I can be rested up for dialysis in the morning. Yep, it’s dialysis day tomorrow.
