Today has begun at 7 AM for me -- maybe sooner at 5 AM. It was a busy morning because I had my last therapy session until April 1, 2023, before heading to dialysis by 11 AM -- forty-five minutes before I was put on the machine by M and C. The internet here is in and out of place; the clinic is new. It is frustrating. The machine is something my catheter has to get used to. Moving is not a privilege right now. I have to sit still. I love the new clinic very much. Each patient has more privacy. That is a plus. Even if a patient has more privacy with the setup and the cubicle look, I admit it is more excellent. I have been sitting in chair 2 out of twenty-two chairs. The clinic at the Henry Palmer building had only twelve chairs. Now at the Michael Berry building, the dialysis clinic is on the third floor above the parking garage. The nephrology doctors are also with the new clinic on the 3rd floor. Whoo hoo. I have a new clinic to get used to. It has been two visits so far. The new time is something to get used to. I get cold quickly in the new clinic as every cubicle has a vent above the patient. I need a blanket, but it does not help 100%, unfortunately. It gets cold. The new chairs do not have heat or massage in them. The chairs are more comfortable too. They look old-fashioned and are unused. The dialysis machines are unique as well. They are blue with a white pattern that is more pleasant to the eye than those greenish and ugly chairs. The cubicles make it less intimidating as well. It will take time to get used to — for sure.
