Therapy Update
Once again, therapy went well. I walked a total of 174 feet today after doing some arm exercises. I went 103 feet to and back, then did another walk that was 74 feet to and back. I did terrific today, according to JP and my therapist, GD. I will not argue, but I know my muscles will tell me all about it this weekend after I get home from dialysis treatment. I am okay with the walking regimen for now. I want to know how far I am going.
When it comes to getting to dialysis after therapy, it takes about five minutes or so to bee-bop over while in my power chair. I love the freedom and the independence of getting somewhere alone with my caregiver, knowing I am driving myself. It allows me to have alone time with Jesus, not too far if I need to talk to Him. Although I live in Janesville, I still want to get out and drive about town to wherever I go.
Today, after dialysis and before sundown, I will get my fried green tomatoes from Whiskey Ranch Bar and Grill and get either fish or chicken with mushrooms at the Looking Glass Bar and Grill. At the Looking Glass, they make the best chicken strips over Whiskey Ranch, and I am not sorry to say so. The first time I visited Whiskey Ranch, after ordering food from that place several times, the service was mediocre and unacceptable. We had a young waitress who made mistakes on the billing twice. I do not know what was going on, but she was not on planet Earth that day, LOL
At 11:21 AM, the lobby of the nephrologist's office is tranquil today.
