Today is the 4th of July ---- Our Nation's birthday. I would like to wish everyone a happy day today as we, for those who do, celebrate the holiday with parades, cookouts, and fireworks. I did go to a cookout this afternoon and saw a parade -- a nice one to celebrate the holiday with other spectators and friends. It rained a bit but not a whole lot. I did not get wet much because I was under a tree for the most part of my sitting duration. After the cookout and parade I was brought home where I snuggled with Bing Noel Crosby for a while, got online, watched two movies --- Scooby Doo and Scooby Doo 2 - and made some phone calls to friends and family. Now with the night getting late, as going on 10 p.m. is late for me now for most nights, I am heading to bed for the night and will return tomorrow.
