When comparing yesterday to today, I must admit that it was a better day. I had PT and dialysis before driving home in my power chair. On very nice days, I go home from dialysis on a route taken a few times now. It takes me only fifteen minutes to get home. The course brings me to Mineral Pt, turn right on Franklin St to the lights to cross Center Avenue, turn left onto Center and cross the bridge to go to N Main St, turn right, go to the next crosswalk to cross Main St and head down Pease Ct several feet to Garden Court where I live. Driving my power chair gives me the feeling of Independence on beautiful days. Today’s weather was a little cooler after a few days of extreme heat. A heat advisory was out for two days, and it was over 100 degrees. HOT!
Dialysis Update
I will not argue about how dialysis went today. Sometimes, we have position issues that need to be addressed.
,,8, d, and today, I could not move a lot for the first forty-five minutes, or the machine would alarm every couple of minutes. It is very frustrating for me and the nurse and technicians in your care. I am glad things calmed down, and the machine quieted for the last two hours of treatment.
Therapy
It has been a great joy at therapy most of the time. Sometimes, my arms ache so badly that I want to cry hard. My arthritis is mostly at bay, but my CP muscles have been getting angry with me lately. I wouldn’t say I like it. I still move ahead the best I can with each session.
I did not have Gina, Doreen, or Peter as my physical therapists today. I had Brian. Usually, I do not use names, but this time I did. It was a nice change for the day, but I can tell you it was a little frustrating initially, but I do like Brian. I like all the Therapists—even Lilly. Lilly pushes a certain way that I cannot handle.
It is time for me to say goodbye for the day and night.
