"Grandpa Van" had passed away today.  I just got the phone call I have been waiting for for the past few days.  CV, Pastor V's wife, called me, but soon as I heard the ring tone "Amazing Grace", I knew that "Grandpa Van" had passed away.  My heart is relieved that he is no longer suffering if there was any but heart aches that he has died.
