It was 22 years ago this day that my world changed ... at the age of 17 at the time and 4 months away from my 18th birthday. A birthday I may not have seen if I did not have the surgery I did in this day 22 years ago. Anyway, this day is a memory for me that just will not go to the back burner of mind.
Anyway, 22 years later, from March 12, 1988, I went out to eat with a neighbor to celebrate the 22 years since the surgery. I had a good time. After dinner, we went to the grocery store then we came home for the night, where i ended up having company over until the wee hours of Saturday morning which was 4:30 a.m. I WAS WOUND UP!
