My second day of treatment for the week has started a little rough. Dialysis did go, but the first ten minutes of treatment, there was a clot in the catheter on the venous side/blue, and it took a male technician to get the clot out after a female technician did her best at getting the side to work herself. Treatment did resume without putting Cathflo in before treatment, and I was out the door by 12:35 PM. I was not worried because the techs and nurses know what they are doing, and two nurses, M and J (male), know what they are doing when there is a tough spot.
JA, a patient I got to know, had left early for some reason or another. We left at the same time. I am not sure why, but we will wait and see if JA wants to tell me.
