Morning

What a snowy day. I made it to dialysis this morning without any problems. This week is going smoothly. They only needed to take 1 kilo from me on Saturday, 1.2 kilos Tuesday, and today. I am at dialysis now. I am okay with that. I got hooked up at 9:15 AM and will be done at 12:15 PM today. With the weather being what it is—very snowy—I would like to get home and be comfortable and have lunch and relax. I live in Wisconsin.

Since returning home in November, I have met new patients who have started dialysis. B, a male patient, loves to joke, making me laugh. He loves teasing the dialysis technicians—especially the girls. He even teases and jokes with the patients. I like him as a person, too. 

Afternoon

I have been home since 12:45 PM and had lunch of mac and cheese, rice, and pepper jack cheese-filled pretzels. The treatment went by fast when I was dialyzed today, with a few hiccups with the machine. The week has been going well. Saturday is my last treatment for the week.

I am looking forward to my weekend. My plans are to see my sweetheart KB and his Mom Saturday afternoon, watch TV, journal, and read.
