It has been a long time since I have written now. I am still here, though. I got sick with a blood infection and was in the hospital for 8 days! I have had my catheter replaced with a temporary catheter Friday and the temp for dialysis did not work.IR put in the permanent catheter in on Monday. At this time I am going to dialysis clinic Fresenius to dialyze, so after treatment, I am getting an antibiotic through the catheter for 30 minutes. I have to go to the clinic Tuesday for my last antibiotic dosage.

We have decided to wait until after the holidays to do dialysis at home. My caregivers had plans to be with family and my parents have things to take care of this year with some medical issues of their own. I had to have a catheter replaced for dialysis because I ended up with another blood infection earlier this month. We plan to do home dialysis after the first week of the New Year, though.
