I do want to admit that I did get some sleep last night with my first nightβs routine. With that said, I am aware that it was hard for me to put my electronics down so I can rest my eyes, but I followed through. By 9 pm or shortly before, I checked my diary at Dear Diary and saw that someone commented on my entry. The comment touched my heart β€οΈ in such a way that I smiled and was relieved.
One of the toughest things I have to remember is that I am not the only person who has difficulty with routine and change, and following through to the end. If only I could convince my caregiver Jackie to get a routine set so she can get more sleep, but her stubbornness is similar to my stubbornness. I think, with our similar attitudes, we butt heads every week because our attitudes collide and I want to fire her every week. I have my moments in life with jackie.
Today, even though I did not want to go downstairs to visit with neighbors, I decided to take my book with me in case I did want to escape the conversation that was going on in the community room. Oh my goodness gracious, a tenant called the cops on Jackie today for no reason, but to cause trouble. No, not Sheila. This tenant, a woman, was Nicole, and the police did come to talk to Jackie about the tenantβs accusations, which were founded false and things were smoothed over. Nicole had gotten upset with Jackie just to continue her attack verbally.
