Superstition & Dialysis Update

Friday the 13th Thoughts/Superstition

While I continue to make sure my journal/diary, I have been thinking about superstitions because today is Friday, and the calendar says that it is the 13th. It is Friday the 13th, and it is supposed to be superstitious – a e that is considered superstitious anyway. So I have two questions for you, my friends.

1.        Are you superstitious?

2.        Do you believe in superstitions?

Can you answer these two questions for me? Let me tell you about my thoughts on these two questions, ok? So, as for question #1 in my way of thinking goes like this:

1.        Are you superstitious? No and never was. My parents talked about superstitions openly at the dinner table and we told that superstitions are just stories told through generations and years. I agree with them.

2.        Do you believe in Superstitions? Well, no. Why? I know they are stories passed down through the generations and years. Yes, superstitions seem scary and somewhat silly. As far as Friday the 13th is concerned it is another, ordinary day as usual.

I remember beginning middle school at Milton Middle School. I was in the 6th grade and my locker number was 666. I got teased about it on a regular basis until one teacher caught on what kids were doing during their teasing of my locker number. It was enlightening to know I was not to worry about it anymore. I was told about the beast in the Bible and what the number 666 is and referred to and why in 1999 at the age of 19.

Dialysis Update

For a Friday, I am glad the weekend has arrived and today is my last treatment of the week. Woohoo! Treatment went smoothly, but it had to be stopped before 1900 kilos was taken out because of low BP. The blood had to be cleaned for the last 20 minutes of treatment.
