The ‘Old’ Kristi is Coming Back Now!

Ever since I have left MercyHealth Dialysis, my last day being June 27th, and going to Fresenius Kidney Care Dialysis Center, I have been finding my voice again after 3 years. Jackie and I touched on the subject of me being so stressed out by the staff. I’ve had my first realization of leaving the MercyHealth Dialysis Center last year but we chose to stay, but after my colonoscopy and issue that sent me back to the hospital for observation and another planned colonoscopy AND endoscopy to check for bleeding, but by Wednesday morning, I was able to go home and not worry about the procedure that was scheduled, and my days in the hospital was somewhat a mess and emotionally exhausting in my book. While things were going up and down with Mercy’s issues, Jackie, Deb, and I learned about Fresenius Kidney Care Clinic and the fact that they support home dialysis in hemodialysis being done in the home. That week, we decided that I was going to leave MercyHealth Dialysis Center and become a patient at Fresenius and I was out of MercyHealth Dialysis Center within two weeks. Anyway, since July 1, 2025, I have realized that the ‘old Kristi’ WAS BACK by the end of July! I cannot explain why right now but when I do figure it out, you will hear all about it in my diary here.
