Today

Today, after 11 am, I was caregiver—free for the day after Debbie left for the weekend. Tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday, Jackie will be here because Debbie will be out of town visiting family at her dad’s. I know that her sister will be there this weekend, too. Jackie has not felt the great the past couple of days but we have communicated over the phone and texts. Sometimes I feel she doesn’t take the time to read my texts, though. when? When I express my feelings. Ugh! Anyway, having a caregiver—free day went pretty good for the first time in a long time, too. I was able to breathe without feeling I was left on the wayside and all alone.

The Coldest of Wisconsin’s Winter

This weekend we have been expecting the coldest weather of winter. That is one reason why I was caregiver-free after debb left for the weekend. No big deal today. I have to have a day for myself, too. That is one thing I thought of for 2026. I lay on my bed and watch tv or read a book, or cuddle with Magic kitty.

Millie Kitty

She has been sleeping on the bed at night the past couple of nights. I have awakened to seeing her on the bed to keep warm this winter. Hmmm, I will not disturb her. I think both cats, Magic and Millie sleep in the bedroom until I fall asleep and start snoring, lol. Yep, I snore!! I love my baby girl kitty Millie.
