My Life in Words

Working On It
Sun Mar 02 2025

I need to practice a better routine than the one I have right now that I have found most recent. I need to relax without worrying about my electronic devices. I will not be using them or playing with them after 10 pm each night. I need to find time to relax in the dark with only my night light and tv on, and turn the down the tv by 9 pm each night. i want to know the whereabouts of my favorite girl and boy fur babies Magic 4 and Millie 1, so this my last night I will have my phone and iPad in bed with me. They will be at arm’s reach for emergency services and use, and I will be wearing my emergency button around my neck each night and all weekend I am home alone in h bedroom where I go when my caregivers leave for the rest of the day and evening. The weekends are my weekends I will lay around on my bed day and night or sit in my lift chair until my caregivers get here to work with/for me at my home. Deb and Jackie have their routine and scheduled times set up each day and evening. I will always be comfortable by 5 pm each night unless we are out and about in town and home by 9 pm at night.

More tomorrow. Good night, friends and readers. ‘Yawn!’ It has been a good, great night for me, babies, friends, neighbors, and readers of Dear Diary. . . .’Yawn and good night.

it's interesting about routines. And it's good to fine tune them from time to time. I am always looking for better ways to do things around here that keep me from getting into a rut, and also nurture my mental and physical health. When you live alone, you have to be a 'self starter' most of the time. It's a tall order. Seems like you keep trying to get into a better place. I admire you for it.

Thank you for your kind word you used. Admire me for what I am trying to do to better myself. With the fact I do not sleep well at night anymore has been happening since July 2022 when I ended with Covid and slept a lot the first couple of days. After that, I ended up having difficulty sleeping at night. Now, with this routine, I plan to gwt where I should be. If I have difficulty getting back to sleep after waking at 5 am, I will read for a few minutes and try again if it not a dialysis day. I do my best at turning off the tv for darkness.
