With a new day beginning early for me this week, my caregiver being here at 8 AM - 8:15 AM because I need to be at the dialysis clinic at 9:30 AM for training because we start dialysis at home next Monday. YAY! Getting up at 8 AM DOES NOT bother me at all, but waking up between 3 AM and 4 AM this morning and NOT getting back to sleep bothered me a little bit. I ended up dozing off while watching Thriller, a 1970s TV series that has six seasons. It does have some younger actors I have seen in other TV shows later like Murder, She Wrote, Midsomer Murders, and many others. I don’t get into daytime drama shows too much anymore even though I have watched Dallas, Falcon Crest, and 90210, and Beverly Hills 90210 at one time. I may rekindle watching these shows when I have nothing else to watch. I do my best at watching wholesome television Friday evenings to Saturday evenings because of it being during Sabbath hours. No thriller, horror, and anything scary during Sabbath. Anyway, to get back to my day beginning at 8 AM, this week is our last week at Fresenius Kidney Care. We have about one hour left to dialyze before getting off the machine for the day. WOOHOO and yippee! Then we come back Friday for one more training session. I am READY to be at home! Also, with another anyway in play here, I have to admit that I felt sleepy despite the fact that I have been awake at 3 AM through to 5 AM watching and listening to what was TV. My TV did NOT go to any mode to tell me it was going to shut off. Whew! I was glad of it to be honest with you, and thinking the TV remote control fell on the floor, but was found on the bed on my right side was a relief. Whew! I was relieved.

Magic’s & Millie’s Wake Up Routine Before Caregivers Come

At 6 AM, I ended up with Magic being a snuggle buddy and wanting to be held andz doused with mommy’s kisses and he wanted to give his face kisses right back. SWhen he was being held. It’s our time to cuddle and have time with one another. Millie would come in and do her things to let me know she’s in the room. She has her way of saying good morning. She has been allowing me to pet her while she’s on my bed or in my dialysis chair at home (in living room). LOL, my fur babies have their routines, too. I love it and them.

Before 8 AM Today

I r4do have to admit that I was kind off dozing between 5 AM through to 7 AM because I have awakened and could not get back to sleep between 3 AM to 6 AM. I believe Magic sensed it and came in earlier than planned or just stuck with his normal routine with Millie and came in for our time. It is always worth it when it comes to my fur babies that’s for darn sure! I LOVE them and I do believe God knows this through the years of having cats in my life since 1990 when I got my first kitten with my boyfriend SS at that time. Although it was his money we used to adopt Emilee, he let me keep her and when I had Bing Noel Crosby kitty, I learned he was allergic to cats! Wow! Just like my Aunt Donna who is my second cousin.

I got dressed and ready for my day, got in my power chair, breakfast of pancakes this morning, and headed down to the lobby to wait for my ride at 9 AM. As we headed to the back door, WMN pulled up, and I headed outside and headed to Fresenius to go for dialysis treatment after getting into the medical ride van. The cats get treats while we leave to distract them both away from the door so we can get down to the lobby from the 3rd floor. I have not used stairs for 10 years or so, but I use the elevator and my power chair. I am working on walking again. For therapy on Monday, was a good day of a walking workout. No complaints, but my arms and legs were achy and tired by the following day on Tuesday while at treatment though. I remeber this with no pressure for the first time because I was ready. Realizing this, I did not argue with Brian L, but I was indeed ready to quit walking after having 3 sessions I was pooped, lol..

The Rest of My Day

As dialysis ending at 1:35 AM today, my medical ride WMN here by the time I rolled on out for the day, I get home and visit with my neighbors. Even my friend Cathy had come out to visit for a while. After visiting with my neighbors I call ‘friends’ today, I went upstairs and waited for Jackie to look into the boxes from Amazon before hopping into bed for the rest of the afternoon, evening, and night. Jackie leaving an hour or so later so I could have some time for myself before I went to sleep here. The cats did their own things and played nicely with each other for the first time Without being reminded of being nice to one another, and, lol, they chased one another one way and chased each other the other way without any meanness toward one another with me saying ‘that their playing together like this is exactly what I love to see’. A perfect end of the afternoon home resting having a day go very smoothly for the first time in a while. Almost a perfect day! WOOHOO! I love days like this and that.
