Once Again… I Changed Format, Lol…
Although the changed format will NOT be noticed in my diary post, the changed format was described by me in the bestest way possible in this subject. Oh how I LOVE to create my own documents to please my always changing mind in changing the format to please my mind?! No big deal, right?? Maybe…hmmm?…
I have the title being My Dear Diary Journal 2025, and the header being the month being November, and for the subject matter be in header #3 in a light blue color, and my subject in font size 8, while the date is in font size 10, and I am satisfied for this month in my journal creation. Never again am I going to fuss and be bothered that I change the format ALL the time. I enjoy created templates and trying out something new in Pages, Numbers, and Keynote because I don’t have a job where I make money these days.
Pages, Numbers, & Keynote
Pages, Numbers, and Keynote have become my favorite programs to use this year of 2025! These three programs,to me, are similar and like MS Office’s Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, but to me, MS Office, now MS365, does seem to be a little complicated to me, have won me over this year! I have to do some research on Pages, Numbers, and Keynote because I am curious about things these days, and want to be knowledgeable on important things regarding software. I don’t mind studying anymore. I always enjoyed learning about software and computers 💻 through the years.
Happy Birthday, Jackie!
My caregiver Jackie has her 46th birthday today. Happy birthday, Jackie! After remembering how Jackie’s birthday started and ended abruptly 20 minutes after receiving our dinner plates at Texas Roadhouse because I all of a sudden did not feel so good and we took the city bus home right to the apartment building’s front door. No throwing up or anything, thank goodness, but just a tummy discomfort because I had just got done with dialysis. After getting home from dialysis that afternoon after 2:30 pm, Jackie and I hoped on the city bus and transferred to the Milton Avenue bus to take us uptown Janesville and drop us off across the street of Texas Roadhouse for supper that late afternoon. I was very embarrassed because feeling yucky after dialysis hasn’t happened to me in four years. When our food came, the smell of all the food made my stomach feel queasy. I personally think that the stress from being at MercyHealth had gotten to me that afternoon because the machine may have pulled more fluid and toxins out that were necessary. I did take a challenge that day due to the weekend of not dialyzing since Friday afternoon. God only knows the truth. Anyway… I was not going to allow Jackie’s birthday be ruined this year, and we came up with a plan that included Stephanie the nurse, and Rosa the home dialysis technician who has been helping us train to do dialysis at home, and a nurse who is in training, Genevieve. We decided to order personal pan pizzas from Pizza Hut on my tab for Jackie’s birthday. Oh yeah, I have to include Deb, too, lol. Can’t forget about her! She’s training and was with us today. I paid $3 for 6 personal pan pizzas from from pizza hut today for Jackie’s birthday?! I enjoyed it, too! But I will NOT eat a meal while dialyzing at home AGAIN! I didn’t get sick or feel like I was going to throw up 🤮, but my tummy did not like all that grease and fattening food today that I just had some black berries, cheese balls, and a chocolate tootsie roll sucker as my late afternoon treats without supper. My pizza was a pan pizza with mushrooms, chicken sausage, and banana peppers, and the last two small pieces of personal pan crust could not be eaten. I was surprised that the nurse and technician allowed me to eat a full lunch during dialysis! It was good no doubt 👍🏻 though. Yummy! However, I do fully understand that a meal should not be eaten during treatment, though. I get it. Yet, Jackie’s birthday this year was NOT ruined and we included two others in the festivities today. I enjoyed it and it was a great day all day long. It was Jackie’s idea to have lunch at the clinic today, and since a nurse was in training for the home dialysis aspect of it a.ll, I told Jackie to include Genevieve, too! Jackie got up and found what she wanted without saying a word, lol.
