When it comes to My veins…
I have quite a few of them now because my main vein has been used for my fistula that never worked to be used and the graft worked only 9 months. So. When I get blood for the doctors every morning and night, sometimes three times a day, a Phlebotomist has to find a vein to draw blood for the tubes that have specific tests in then for the upkeep to keep an eye on the blood counts that were necessary to monitor. My veins can pull so much before they clot and blow, or not work any longer. My arms show the abuse of these needles every time they are used to grab the necessary amount of blood. Phlebotomists can not use IV’s, catheters or other accesses to grab the blood. It is very frustrating
