Where My Brain Went on This Thought About Apple Products For Some Reason I Don’t Know Why, LOL…

When it comes to my journaling for Dear Diary, sometimes I need to change something about the journal every once in a while. I have to write my thoughts and feelings in Pages or Word document because of what I am using at the time. I am fond of the Apple products out there. I use my phone or iPad most to journal, although I have used my living room television to go to DD to write my thoughts and feelings there, too. I prefer Pages over MS Word these days because Pages is a very good word processor, too, and to be honest and fair, less expensive if you need to buy Pages. Yes, I am an Apple user these days. I have been using Apple products for at least 20 years now. I’ve used Windows as well in my lifetime as well without regret to be honest with YOU and MYSELF, and my stepdad Lon L has told me that I know a lot about electronics since I turned 12 years old. To be honest, he’s the gentleman who has directed me in electronics BECAUSE I showed an interest in electronics, and now TV’s are considered smart and can be used to go online, too! My TV’s are NOT with iOS, but I do enjoy being online when on my TV’s today. Tonight I am watching Grey’s Anatomy on Netflix.

As far as Pages, Numbers, and Keynote programs are concerned, are easier to use while I have used Word and Excel, and have fooled with PowerPoint , I prefer Apple or iOS because Pages, Numbers, and Keynote are, to me, self explanatory and EASIER to use. Having an iPhone, an iPad, and MacBook Pro, and I do have a Chromebook laptop and the Chromebook does not use iOS or MacOS, I use that laptop once in a while. I am familiar to its operating system and have it for my caregiver Jackie P. Please don’t ask why I thought about all this today. I don’t have to explain myself to anyone but myself anyway. I guess my brain can wander A LOT, 🙄🙃😏. Oh well, smile.

Dialysis Update

Ever since July 2025, I have been going to Fresenius Kidney Care to have dialysis treatment 3x times a week until last Friday when I started treatment for in the home dialysis on October 10, 2025. My caregiver Jackie and I, Kristi K, decided to get trained for using a machine in the home was made and finalized the last week of June, which I was very happy to leave MercyHealth Dialysis Center and my favorite doctor behind, as well as my favorite technicians and nurses there under unresolved issues and my emotional welfare was being scrutinized. Ever since MercyHealth Hospital put me in a nursing home twice in 2022, I became uncomfortable with MercyHealth system(s) and trust had been misplaced in my way of thinking, I became to dislike some of the MercyHealth staff and doctors. I even walked away from a doctor at MercyHeath North Clinic because of unreconciled differences and the fact, simple as it was, this doctor Dr. H would NOT speak to my mother or caregiver Jackie when I requested her to do so, and the nurse would not pass on my concerns to the doctor. Anyway, training for doing dialysis in the home resumes to the end of the month and into November 2025.

Although I miss the nurses and technicians at Fresenius Kidney Care, I do have to admit learning how to dialyze at home is something I have been looking forward to ever since I was told that hemodialysis can now be done in your home. I dialyze 5x a week at home instead of going to the clinic 3x a week for 3 hours. This was my first full week of training except for Wednesday due to another doctor appointment was scheduled, but had to be cancelled at the last minute due to insurance issues need to be taken care of. Someone called about that today, and I gave her Jackie’s number to talk about getting this insurance straightened out. Her name was Nicole if I remember correctly,.
