Jackie and I Both Screwed Up
I will be very honest here. Jackie and I screwed up sometime last week when we were scheduling my appointment for today. She said Mercy, not SSM Health. On Monday, she said the Edgerton Hospital, so I had called MTM to say Edgerton Hospital. MTM did change it. Well, I had to call MTM to cancel my medical ride to Edgerton Hospital BECAUSE I noticed at 2 AM in the morning that my appointment was at SSM Health at 12:15 PM — a CT scan without contrast. So, I sent the information through to Jackie via text and told her that we both screwed up. So, calling MTM was what I did, and Jackie and I inviting Marie H to join us, we went on the city of Janesville’s JTS bus to my appointment, go to the transit center, and go to the Olive Garden for lunch, and to Riversedge Bowling Alley to bowl a couple of games to make up for the screw up that we had and made a day of fun.
Appointment at SSM Health
Oh, my goodness gracious, we finally made it to the right place! SSM Health… … … early, too! We get there early, and they took me early without drinking anything. The girls got the pictures and then we left to get lunch at the Olive Garden. So, you know, when Jackie mentioned the Olive Garden through a text saying OG. I did not get it until a few seconds later…
Olive Garden
After my appointment, Jackie, Marie, and I got on the bus again and headed to the transit center to get on Milton Avenue bus to the restaurant. It was a little chilly and it rained a little, but not for long, but we got to the Olive Garden. We all had chicken gnocchi soup, endless pasta, and breadsticks. Then we got a ride back to the transit center and went bowling at Riversedge.
Bus Ride
Jackie, Marie, and I did not like the bus ride to the transit center because the driver braked too hard that we made Jackie and Marie almost fell off their seats. I felt jolted a little bit as well as nausea rose in my belly. For a few seconds I felt yucky. I do not think my dinner/lunch settled well in my stomach. Yucky feeling.
Bowling
Riversedge is a wonderful place to be for food and a game or two of bowling. We played a couple of games then we left, walking home to Garden Court where I got into bed for the rest of the afternoon and evening.
Good Night
It is time for me to say good night and God bless. It has been a long day, and finally I am in bed, ready for my nightly restful nap. I did not 💤 well last night, but it feels I am going to sleep well tonight. I am wiped out.
