Dialysis Update 2
Dialysis went smoothly and the alarm on the machines off three of times for when my BP became low, when I moved to get my phone to work on my journaling, and when the machine warned about the heparin line needed to be looked at. Otherwise, I got through dialysis from the beginning to end without any problems arising with my catheter today, I was able to watch the AMC channel and be quiet in my world and say hello to techs and patients as they pass by to their chairs. At least I got to see my friendsTeresa and Ray this morning when I got here at 11 AM.
2:10 PM
Now done with dialysis treatment for the weekend. Woohoo, I am heading home, driving myself is fun. It gives me time for myself before my caregivers see me and this afternoon and tomorrow (Saturday) it is going to be Jackie. My weekend has begun until Monday morning.
My Ride Home
When I ride home, I have a specific route I take. I drive my power chair from Mineral Point to Franklin Street, cross Center Way Street, and continue down Franklin Street to Milwaukee Street where there is a monument of names of those who have died in war. I always stop there and ask Jesus, our Heavenly Father to watch over the families of their relatives who have died. After my little prayer, I drive home on Milwaukee Street and turn left onto North Main Street to cross at Main Street and Pease Court to go to the back door of the building. Jackie met me upstairs by the apartment.
The Rest of the Day
We got into the apartment and sat for a while before walking to my bedroom to get into bed 😁. As I get ready for the evening, I have decided to watch the first season of the Spiderwick Chronicles until I fall asleep.
