My Day Today.

On the weekends, most of the time, I would rather lay in bed all day after getting to and back from the bathroom on Sunday morning and be in bed ALL DAY after a week of appointments and dialysis treatment. Jackie, Deb, and I are at Fresenius Kidney Care learning how to do dialysis at home with the dialysis machine for the home for hemodialysis treatment being done at home. At the clinic, patients go there three times a week at their doctor’s desired times that go on the patient’s machine can go up to 5 hour sessions. I have been there until Dr. Anjum put me on the machine for 2 hours and 45 minutes and since I started going to Fresenius, I was for 4 hours for the first 3 days, then I was able to go to 3 hour shifts within my second and third week, with two treatments at 2 hours anc 45 minutes of treatment to show them where I was at Mercy whrn left MercyHealth Dialysis Center Clinic. I have doctors from SSM Health now. No more Dr. Anjum or Dr. Shaikh. They are MerchHealth doctors. So, I have been playing Rummy 500, watching Poltergeist: The Legacy ALL day today on my bedroom TV that is a Fire TV.  I have journaling most of the day, my mom ALWAYS calls on Sundays if her day doesn’t escape her, an we chatted for more than 10 minutes tonight after 7 pm CST. My mom and stepdad Lon live in Deming, New Mexico at 6 pm MST. Her time is 1 hour behind 7 pm CST that is CST in Southwest Wisconsin.

I have been reading Nancy Drew: The Ghost Of Blackwood Hall throughout the day, and now going on9 PM, Millie is in the hammock on the bedroom cat tree while Magic is sleeping on the bed at my feet and right side. I am watching Poltergeist: The Legacy TV series on PrimeTime TV ALL day today. Bed is an hour away where TV, light gets shut off for the night so I can rest and sleep since I have a rough time getting sleep some nights during the week these days. I am working on a regular schedule to rest with effective goals in mind. Sometimes, though, my brain does not rest at night or during the day and I have sleepless night at times during the week I don’t fret over anymore when they occur. As a matter of fact, I will shut the TV now.

Tomorrow Begins A New Week of Dialysis Training & Other Appointments 

To be honest with you, having my thoughts bouncing back and forth right now about dialysis in the home, I am all for it because doing dialysis for 3 hours 5 days a week is, in comparison to 3 days a week at 3 hours every other day M, W, and F or T, Th, and Sat for 3 hours in the dialysis clinic is feasible, I feel so much better doing it everyday in the home. Jackie and Deb, and I getting trained through December to dialysis at home. I learned this while I was hospitalized at MercyHealth due to residue blood from my colonoscopy caused residual blood to form around my bowels and MercyHealth Dialysis gave me heparin too soon after colonoscopy and I can’t have heparin until 48 to 72 hours after colonoscopy procedure is done due to removing any polyps, and I had one polyp removed after three tries to have a colonoscopy done after three tries of getting ALL of my bowel out due to being constipated and finally getting ALL of the bowel out ot my colon. That was a very BUSY 3 days!, too! I can laugh about it now, too!
