I know it has been a while I have written, but I have been busy with things. For this week, Fresenius Dialysis Center had difficulty accessing my catheter, so the secretary called a place called Azura to get my catheter looked at and replaced. Yep, the catheter that was placed last month because I had gotten another blood infection and was hospitalized at Mercy Hospital for 8 days last month (December). Ummm, I learned something about my 9th catheter that did NOT please my caregiver Jackie one bit! This was my first time going to Azura, a clinic in Madison Fresenius Kidney Care sends their patients for care. Was I nervous? Well… I was at first, but I was not comfortable immediately. It took a few minutes unfortunately. The doctor who replaced the catheter told us (me and Jackie) after the replacement, that my 9th catheter thick and too short! What the heck?! i was pleased! I was glad I went to Azura. Jackie doesn’t want me go go to Mercy Hospital anymore for having procedures done there because my 9th catheter did not work very well from the beginning when it was replaced last month (December). I was NOT impressed myself! Ugh!! So, tomorrow I plan onto finding out if the replacement will work tomorrow for sure.
