All of a sudden, the technician I had yesterday, one of the nurses who was my technician today thought I got on at noon. Nope, 11:45 AM. Oh, oops! Not a happy camper with the dialysis team today, and I will be complaining about that in the near future. I was not hooked up until 11:55 AM and that annoyed me. It made me feel very uncomfortable being there. I will have to talk to Jackie about that tomorrow when she gets here.
Despite the lateness of dialysis, I got downstairs by 3:01 PM and my ride did not arrive yet, so I called to make sure I did not miss it, and I did not miss my ride at all. I waited another 10 minutes and then I was heading home 🏡.
Dialysis went smoothly as I watched a couple of judge shows and then ate my snack keeping to myself the best I could because I was unhappy about what happened today. The machine alarmed a couple of times because of the lines being pinched or something on the machine did not agree with the pressures in the arterial line. My catheter has been working fantastic lately in reverse over regular hookup, and I am fine with it.
I rarely looked at the time while at dialysis today. Time still ran its normal speed and course, but I found looking at what I have left does go by slowly if I look 👀 too often. That is the only problem with me today. I cannot wait to get home!
