Where oh where has August gone? The month is one day away from being done for another year and the days are going by fast and yet, the days are going by at its normal pace and time to be very honest with you. I have been sleeping better at night and if I don’t get any or not enough for the next day, I don’t worry anymore and continue with my day anyway. I am sitting in the lobby of Fresenius for my turn at the machine for three hours already before 11 AM in hopes I can get on early, but I don’t worry about that either. By the time I get on and off here is what it is no matter what the day brings for me now. The stress of dialysis and the fact idea of being here waiting is no big deal anymore. I dreaded going to dialysis when MercyHealth Dialysis moved from the Henry Palmer Building to the Sister Michael Building in 2023. Trying to me on the scale was always questionable at how they wanted the information and to get accurate information of my weight. I had lost my happiness with Mercy about my care from them. It was awful and in time, I lost interest of going there as I have had made friends with a few patients and most of them are now gone due to other health issues that they died from. At Fresenius Kidney Care, the worries have been erased or eliminated from my life finding myself old Kristi once again. I HAD TO LEAVE MERCYHEALTH DIALYSIS to find myself AGAIN! Ugh!!!! Today, I can’t say the change in my life has been quick and forthcoming the way it has been! It’s WOW for ME! I am very HAPPY now! Serious! Anyway, September is a day and a half away now which means bring forth the season Fall coming and cooler weather to come before the Winter season to play its ugliness for a few weeks until Spring. The summer months are almost over and kids will be returning to school for another year of learning. I do not have any human kids to worry about, but I’m happy to see and hear kids are heading back to school on Tuesday! I am excited for Deb’s son starting college classes next week in Illinois at Olivet College in Illinois. He graduated from Craig Sr High here in June 2025! Tyler wants to go into mechanical engineering—a wonderful profession! WTG, Tyler! I am proud of you!
As the month of August gets ready to leave us and me, I am ready to have the month of September play its month in my life. I am looking forward to the days yet coming in my life if my Savior and Lord still has my life planned at this time. I’m only at 55, but what God has planned for me is still a big question. We are living in the last days.
