What can I say about today? Hmmm?, I can say a lot happened today. I got out of the apartment and went shopping with my caregiver and my neighbor Mikey G. We went to Maurice’s at the Pins Tree Plaza, went to Luke’s Deli for wraps, chicken strips, and fries, and soda pop. I drank cream soda while Mikey drank a cherry soda of some sort, and Jackie got lemonade. I think Luke’s Deli has good fries! Yum! LOL. After shopping and lunch, we strolled home, walking and I am in my power chair. My chair will have to be put on the charger tomorrow when Deb H comes to back to work tomorrow after church tomorrow afternoon after church services at Bethel Baptist Church. I used to go to that church. I go to the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Beloit, Wisconsin now even though I haven’t gone for the past 4 years do to being in the hospital and nursing homes in 2022 due to COVID and having a hematoma by my right hip that stopped me from being able to walk for over a year. That experience has changed me in an emotional way I believe made me feel helpless and unhappy for a very long time. I will talk about that another day, though. Today has been a good and fair day, and I was glad to get out for the day, but I would have been fine staying home and watching Joe Kendra’s Homicide Hunter program and laying in bed. I also wanted to have Jackie to myself, but that did not happen as planned. Oh well, I do like Mikey G. Anyway, after getting home from being our since 10 AM, getting home by 2 PM, I got comfortable in my power chair for a few hours and watched Homicide Hunter in the living room until I decided to transfer myself to my recliner chair in my bedroom. Jackie and Mikey went to out of town to do some more shopping for Jackie and for Mikey’s grandkids upcoming birthdays. I stayed home to rest and watch tv for a little bit until Jackie comes back and we will go watch the fireworks at Traxler Park tonight since they are doing them tonight instead of the 4th of July. I think it is goofy to have fireworks before the 4th to be be honest here. With the time going on to 8 PM in 12 minutes, I have to say that this is what my day is like today.
