Today, I was supposed to go to Milwaukee for a colonoscopy consultation, but the weather at 7:30 am Jackie was worried about the roads. Because we are now in the season we call winter, the roads to and from Milwaukee were icy and concerning. We decided, canceling the appointment, not taking any chances being out in the cold. I did not want to cancel, really, but I did not want to go out in the cold, either. I do not hate the winter season, but I do not like it when it gets below 0 and icy. When the weather turns icy and super cold, my body reacts to it in such a way that is definitely positive. Otherwise, when the snow is falling and the piles of snow come about, I love winter in that way. As a child, I could not wait to go sledding or to go on our toboggan down our hill where dad helped my brother create a place to go sledding with our neighborhood friends of all ages. My sledding and toboggan days are vivid memories now. So, instead of going to my appointment out of town, I stayed home and watched CSI shows on Fire TV Live TV instead as well as doing some serious thinking about my life.
