Oh my goodness gracious, it is now August 2024! Move on over July, August has FINALLY arrived. Woohoo, July is done for the year. Another woohoo. Hopefully now the weather will become cooler before September. Hmmm? Maybe not. Today, as far as I know, it did not rain like it was supposed to. I love it when the weather changes at the last minute. We were expecting a storm today, but it did not com e. It did get warm out though. I dislike the hear because it bothers my arthritic joints of the shoulders and elbows, and knees. Even my left knee was smarting a bit today because it was supposed to rain today. Maybe it did. I did not have my blinds open today because of the heat and the neighbors visiting outside by the bus stop and smoking.
I did not go anywhere today. I was wiped out yesterday from dialysis treatment and g been out and about town on Tuesday and was tired being out from 9 AM to 6 PM Tuesday morning and afternoon running errands and eating out and seeing two movies. It was a long, very long day for me. Even my bus ride to and from the bus depot was not too bad like my last three rides. I am getting used to the bumps and turns the bus makes while traveling about town. Getting to know the bus routes again is not a horrible experience anymore. My first three rides were not good experiences because the feeling of going left or right and around corners is not a comfortable experience at all. Today I only felt uncomfortable while the bus was turning in the circle where he turns by MercyHealth North and Texas Road House. It does not feel comfortable while sitting in my power chair. I know I am safe and buckled in, but the feeling is not comfortable at all. I have to laugh at my uncomfortableness at times AFTER the experience is over a minute later.
Now, with that said, I can say that my day was pretty good. Jackie got here a few minutes after 9 AM, got my morning meds ready to be taken because she had to go get the meds yesterday afternoon. I got out of bed to use the bathroom as I always have the need to go have a bowel movement most mornings. By the time Jackie got here, I believe my need to use the bathroom was about twenty minutes before Jackie got here and to not allow my bowels to come into my underwear, I decided to begin to read for a few minutes to get my mind on the need to use the bathroom. It worked and by the time I finally got to the bathroom, I was able to have a healthy bowel movement or two. It felt good to get it out of me!
Jackie, after getting me settled in the living room sitting in my power chair, went to Quiktrip to get us breakfast. She got me a sandwich and cheese taters, and a long John doughnut with white frosting and sprinkles. Millie the kitty, had a couple of bites of doughnut with me. She almost got a potato bite, but I saved them from her. I did not want her to eat any of them. I did share my sandwich with her, though. She is a people food eater, and I am picky about what I give her. She gets an egg yolk every day at breakfast when I get my eggs in the morning when Deb cooks for me. Today, Thursday, Deb had to babysit her nephews and run errands for herself this morning. Jackie is usually here Thursday morning by 9 AM — 9:30 AM until 3 PM.
By 3 PM, I was ready to get back to my bedroom. I walked slowly and sat in my recliner for a few minutes before jumping into bed for the night. I wanted to get comfortable with a book and watch more Dr. Phil for a while before switching to Midsomer Murders for the rest of the night. I also wanted to make sure that I was all caught up with my journaling when I found I had fallen behind once again and now I am all caught up once again.
Journaling Changes
With DD back and running after 25 years, my journal is going to change. I have three diaries at Dear Diary now. Life Goes On, Woohoo, Dear Diary is Back, and My Life in Words. I do not know how long Woohoo, Dear Diary is Back, but it will be a while before I get rid of the diary and just have Life Goes On and My Life in Words. Not sure yet. Maybe keep Woohoo, Dear Diary is Back.
Now that August has finally arrived, can figure out what to make my journal, diaries pop and bring in my readers. Most of my journaling will be for the public and other diarists who also write a bit here and there. Hmmm? What to do? Since DD is back to its former glory, my journaling will change as well. Well, I will figure it out as time passes each day and I read other diary entries from those who also write.
Politics!
I am warning other diarists to be very careful when it comes to politics with some people, okay? I can say that I am one of those people who is open to political debate, but it needs to be clean and censored kindly, and never ask me to take sides. I am not Republican or Democratic. I am Independent. I sit on the fence and see both sides as equally as possible. I do have to admit that seeing how both sides are battle-axing each other, I am being annoyed at the lies both sides. Voting this year is going to be difficult. I wish people would just get along and work together. I know for a fact that presidents of our past had foreseen a great divide between people while our first five Presidents took office. Maybe by President Abraham Lincoln the divide was going in the direction to vote Republican or Democrat. All I can say is since 2001, I have begun to see that politics were getting one-sided. Either Democrats or Republicans, not both sides working together anymore. Republican Party no longer want Democratic Party. Visa versa with the Democratic Party dealing with Republicans.
End Times
I do not want to get into the end times right now. It is late and should have been asleep three hours ago or by 9 PM, but I have been cuddling with Magic Kitty Cat and playing catch up with my journaling. Yeah, I have a lot to say right now. It is going into August 2nd here shortly and I am still wide awake, and I have dialysis in the morning from 11:45 AM — 2:30 PM. Then I have the weekend to relax and get my monthly bills and rent paid. I have the internet, phone, electricity, and rent to pay this weekend. Last month, my rent was still in an envelope on the fridge on July 8th when I noticed the envelope was still there. I was three days late with the rent for the first time ever and I had to add $8 to my rent for being late. I had to pay a late fee!
As far as the end times are concerned, Jesus’ second coming is near. The Bible talks about the end times in Revelations and pop prophecy has begun to be fulfilled. I have no time to talk about end times right now, but I will tomorrow for sure. Time to say...
Good Night
‘Yawn’ as it is time say good night and if it is God’s decision for me to awaken in the morning, God will allow another day of life with me. These days are long, hot, and tiring at times. I will, if God allows me to face another day, I will be back August 2nd, okay? Good night and God bless. Play
