When Kayla copped an attitude with me on Wednesday, yesterday, I became angry with her, and she is not my favorite person right now. Marie, her sister, came to me to tell me she talked to Kayla and took care of it. Right now, I am angry enough that I will say something unkind, so I am avoiding her right now. I do not want to run into her right now.
My friend, Brenda M, has a birthday today. She is 53 years old. We have been friends since 1977 when her parents moved to Milton, Wisconsin, and went to Milton Harmony Elementary School from 1st grade through 2nd grade. In my 3rd grade year, Brenda went to Milton East Elementary, until we connected again in middle school in 6th grade meeting a couple of her friends Heather Fehr and Connie Haney, who became my friends, too.
As the school years fell behind us, she chose to be in the services where she met her husband Arturo Martinez, had three children now all grown, and later divorced Arturo and raising the kids singlehanded. I just understand that Brenda and Art separated and divorced because they had reconciled differences that could not be reconciled. I get it. Brenda has been living their life of a hard-working woman who is enjoying her job.
