Software Update on Phone & iPad & Charging…
Software Update
I always make sure I am keeping up with making sure that I get my software updates when it comes to software updates on my phone and iPad these days!! I can get a little frazzled and frustrated if I don’t do it on a regular basis. This week, I noticed that the update jumped from 18.?.? to 26.0.1. Wow! It was a large jump, but dealt with. When I get home after dialysis, though, I have to add software update 26.0.1 because I didn’t have time to do it last night. So, right this minute my phone and iPad do not have the same update yet, but by evening or as soon as I get settled at home after getting back from dialysis, I will make sure my phone has the latest update. With my electronics, I ALWAYS make sure that the software updates are done. I make sure EVERYTHING is in working order.
Charging
Ok, when it comes to charging my electronics by my bed, I will have to sometimes wait until morning when a charger became unplugged and my iPhone or iPad is not charging at all. I don’t find it a very big deal because by dark, I should not be on my electronics after 8 pm. Why do I say that? Well, your brain needs to relax at night as well your eyes. I was told at a sleep study that we should not have the tv on all night. Ummm, most nights I do, but lately, I have been allowing my tv to shut down after 4 hours. It’s a habit I have to get into EVERY NIGHT. I have ALWAYS fallen asleep with a light on in the room when I was a little girl, but not anymore, now. I can fall asleep with the tv on, though. I’m strange that way. Anyway, I am getting off the subject of charges charging?
Every now and then my chargers for my iPad and phone become unplugged from the outlet inside my table of snacks and water because the table gets moved every day so I can get in and out of bed everyday. The moving of the table will sometimes shift the items and cords inside. The cords can be bumped just right and loosen the cords. Last Sunday my chargers were NOT working at all for the iPad AND PHONE, so I KNEW the chargers were NO LONGER plugged into the outlet inside my table. I had to wait for Ken and Tanya to get to my place to help me with that! The WAITING game is NOT always easy for me when jet comes to my electronics needing to be charging because they are below 50% battery life for the day/night. 😇😜❤️🤪. So, when Tanya got to my place, we found the two chargers in need of plugging into the outlet in my table and it remedied the situation.
The other day, Jackie and I ordered new chargers for the Chromebook, phone, and iPad, and she had replaced the charger for the phone and Chromebook Pro and we still had a good charger for the iPad. We DID NOT replace the charger for the phone or Chromebook Pro yet, thankfully, because somehow the cord for the phone was not plugged in like it should in the box. Jackie looked into it once I got into bed for the evening and found it lose at the box, and remedied the situation. My phone, then, showed it’s lightning bolt in the middle of the battery and it turned green. Oops on Jackie’s part not checking before she left that night.
The Updated Software to 26.0.1
While sitting here, with 19 minutes left to dialyze for this Saturday afternoon and it being my last treatment of the week, I am getting a taste of the update on my iPad and can’t wait to get home to get the update put on my phone. At a glance at some things showing on my iPad, I like what I have seen so far from looking about the iPad at things while working on my projects and texting. More another time, and when I get home, I need to get my dialysis treatment this week updated in My Fresenius Kidney Care Journal tonight.
