I have been home from dialysis at 3:45 pm and Jackie called to let me know that she took her Aunt Mary by marriage to her husband who passed away from cancer in 2020 at home and became my caregiver a week later to get me out of a jam of losing caregivers lately. Jackie has been the first caregiver I really like even though we have moments we can really hate one another because we are so similar in temperament. I love her to pieces…most of the time.

Anyway, I just got a call from Jackie who said she’s ten minutes away from my place and will get into bed for the night, go shopping for some groceries before the weekend and she gets a break from me to be with family..
