When it comes to my routine, it is very important for me to have consistency. Deb and Jackie have their own way of taking care of me and I have no change. Being in the hospital for three nights emptying my colon for my first colonoscopy ever in my life had disrupted my schedule and today, getting back to my regular schedule and routine. Anyway… here I am, home and getting ready for my day out and back into a routine with Deb and Jackie this Friday morning as I get ready for the day at dialysis at MercyHealth’s Dialysis Center. Yay, back on my regular schedule and routine. Whew!
Debbie got here around 8:20 am, washed my hair, changed my underwear and got me dressed for the day. While Jackie went to the store in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to get some blue raspberry jello and gummy bears, she found a nice new pair of leggings for me I found screamed my name to Deb and to Jackie when they found my leggings. What a treat! I am wearing the leggings today. Deb and I got me dressed for the day and I walked to my power chair. Deb made an omelette for me this morning with my Famous Dave’s pickles. Yum! My ride, WNM picked me up at 11:10 am and got Mrs to dialysis on time. I had dialysis from 11:50 am to 2:40 pm. I got out the door and downstairs to a waiting ride at 2:55 pm and had to wait for Jackie for a few minutes. Then Jackie and I went upstairs and I had supper, then got into bed for the late afternoon and evening. That is where I am now.
Due to Sabbath Coming…
I do have to admit that I am an Adventist that follow the law of the sabbath of Jesus Christ. I come from a line of people who are considered a peculiar people because we go to worship Saturday morning and have school and worship hour, potluck, and an afternoon with friends then we go home to finish the sabbath to the next sundown. Now, I haven’t been to church for a few years because of dialysis and my inability to get in a vehicle like my caregiver Debbie’s vehicle, I haven’t gone to church online for a while either. I study out of the quarterly when I can these days now, and my sweetheart and his mom come visit me every other Saturday afternoon or Sunday for an hour. I have to admit, although I still read my Bible, that I haven’t studied on my own for a long time. I have a lot going on, and I have shopped on Saturdays and bought things during the sabbath day and hours and watched other things not spiritual on Sabbath. More tomorrow.
