A month. That's how long it took me to get all my post-travel stuff sorted. All in good order, slowly and, pedantically, one by one, the pictures were sorted, the face of the book updated for friends, the travel tales written for Russian side of the family. And now, finally, I can update here...

So, without further a-do, let me share with you few observations I made while traveling to the other side of the World...

Vietnam has been in my Bucket List for some time and now the opportunity presented itself - I had a good excuse of a Big Birthday, I had time to spare and a bit of money saved. So, I said to myself Why Not and off I went...flying high...literally. All 12 hours of flight.

I had a plan. I had booked all the hotels in all the places I intended to visit. I even booked two sleeper trains to get me between my destinations. Vietnam is a huge country. To think of it, I only covered North and Central and only very briefly - 2-3 days in each place I stopped. So, I went there not to "see Vietnam" as such, but mostly - to "get a feel" of it...

This was truly an Epic Journey. It was all I thought it would be and much much more! To share all of the wonders is impossible. If you are in my FB lists, you'd see the photos already. Too many to drop in DDLand, so, it will be mostly Travel Tales rather then Travel pictures...But then...This is the best place to share thoughts, sensations and emotions that I collected on this journey...Let us begin...
