Coming Soon. [A Trailer]
Fri Nov 18 2005

It might be lame to write about your journey to work, but today I’m going to be that lame. Simply because today I happened to drive through seasons…It was a frosty morning here. Not just chilling, but blindly cold. Yet the sun was up and the day promised to be just gorgeous…the road I normally take to work lies in a hilly area…Here, on a break of a day, some places have been already awaken to the sun and shook off the white powder of the night beauty product… but there is that hollow on my way…that takes you straight into Wonderland…I haven’t got other words to describe the feeling of diving into the foggy entrance and suddenly you are inside of the Winter Palace…where White is the only colour in fashion. It was like driving through the fairy tale…mainly because of a sudden effect. One moment you are steering along the bright brown-red eyelashes of the Autumn foliage the next – you’re suddenly in a totally different tale! The hollow wasn’t too long – only about 2-3 min of driving (hmmm…can I measure length in minutes?) and then once you're out of it, on the top of a hill, you are back into official season…isn’t it amazing?! I think, once we will be well into the Winter, such things will pass by unnoticed…but for now it is the contrast, that strikes the most. Like a trailer of a new movie everybody’s gonna watch soon…:-)

It looks like my camera  gradually  becomes a permanent resident in my car. I think I've got to get me a smaller one, that would fit into my handbag to be the part of the usual lady's handbag chaos alongside with the makeup, wallet  and other lady's uslessnesses...so as it happened that today I do have my camera with me, here is the gorgeous view of today's Morning (slightly greenish, but I think, this is because of the light coming up towards the camera...or the grass coming up through  the whites):

I woke up to froze plants on my deck.. just froze.. But once the sun came out they warmed up and perked there heads toward what sun was available
I love driving early or late.. when not too many are on the drive with me.

Beautiful picture, but it looks so cold. Brrr!

We have here what's called Tule Fog in the winter. It's totally blinding. And unfortunately it's during the morning commute time. In some places it lies in low places, and other times it seems to be all over. You can't see beyond the nose of your car. However, the heat generated from the tailpipe of many-many cars does help to dissipate some of the fog during the commute hours. But it's still not safe driving.

    Shalom
