A Few (Thoughts)
Wed Aug 03 2005

It is too early in the morning, but there is no one around yet and it’s the best time to sit, relax and …start a new day…

Good Morning, World!

A few morning thoughts for breakfast:
A comment reminded me again of Autumn, as being my favourite season…sure there are many good things about each of the times…Magic slumber of the Winter, like a Sleeping Beauty awaiting a kiss to become alive and when it comes…the magic sparks into the air with a festive mood, dances till the morning, Wizards knocking your door, boxes of presents under the Christmas Tree, smell of oranges and sounds of the little fairy bells chime…Then there is that Wonder of the Spring…when the air is filled with anticipation of a New, a Fresh, a Young…when the colours of the greens are really green to the impossible greenness, lightened throughout with the beams of a young Sun…And the Summer…out of all, it is the time to be Lazy...to allow yourself out of the things you’ve been doing and into the nothings of enjoying outdoors…but the colours of the Summer look too weary to me…as if hanging too long in a cupboard, all become dusty and creasy…and even a good rain would wash away the fatigue only for a little while…
The Fall is – another story for me. If I’d call the Winter – Magical, the Spring – Youthful, the Summer – Weary, the Autumn would be – Majestic. There is nothing compare to the beauty of a fallen leaves, stored in piles under the naked trees… lots and lots and lots...yellow-ish, red....brown...almost decomposted, but not quite yet to make a mess...piles of autumn leaves ....noble like an old gold....soft....inviting to fall into them, to lie and inhale their fading yellow aroma...to look into white sky, lying in the pile of old leaves……There is nothing compare to the quiet transparency of the air…even rain in Autumn feels like a player of the same orchestra, mastering the music of the memories of the past…being packed away, of the dreams for the times to come…fallen leaves will transform the nature for the new ones to be born next Green Season…[~sighs…oh well, it is still whole month before all these will come and I really shouldn’t be that nostalgic yet…LOL]

Anyway, few more morning thoughts to outweigh lyrical digression…

Some time ago someone in the office found a Demotivation Office Art on the web. This teamwork poster is especially appeals to me. Take a look to see which one would be your favourite (perhaps, you’d want to get one for your own working place ;-) )

And on a subject of Office Garments, here is another cute things to buy for your “favourite” colleagues ;-)

More to come if there will be time for it through the day.

Well, I've taken that test and scored shameful 54%...now I wonder, if it's a normal or should I really worry about my intelligence...hmmmm...pensive mood now LOL

A Late Night Thought (last one for today, I guess):
Came across an interesting quote tonight:
Language was invented to ask questions. Answers may be given by grunts and gestures, but questions must be spoken. Humanness came of age when man asked the first question. Social stagnation results not from a lack of answers but from the absence of the impulse to ask questions..."
[Eric Hoffer]

The answers that we seek sometimes those that we are afraid to accept…and the endless circle will go on and on and on – we will never ask, yet we will always know the answer…how ironic, eh?

Let me take a wild guess here. Autumn is your favorite time of year?

    You are positively lyrical today.
