Mantra For Monday

Good morning, World, good Monday morning, Me! The best way to start a week is to start her with love. Even if it’ll be love for your very own self. It is early Monday morning; it is quiet and peaceful here as there are almost 30 min before the madness of a working week starts. Whatever will happen later, for now I’m determined to just love myself for a moment. I sincerely advice you to do the same  * It's funny how sometimes we are harder on ourselves than we would be on our worst enemies. We punish and chastise ourselves. We refuse to acknowledge our own achievements and we harp on endlessly about our failings. If ever we admit to loving ourselves, we feel slightly embarrassed - as if this were a somewhat perverted and socially unacceptable thing to be doing. Yet you are really rather wonderful and it is time you admitted as much. I’ve also found this little poem, which matches the spirit. Good mantra for today. I hope that everyone will find their inspiration to live and to laugh. Just  repeat after me : I love myself the way I am, there's nothing I need to change. I'll always be the perfect me, there's nothing to rearrange. I'm beautiful and capable, of being the best me I can. And I love myself, just the way I am. I love you the way you are, there's nothing you need to do. When I feel the love inside, it's easy to love you. Behind your fears, your rage and tears, I see your shining star. And I love you, just the way you are. I love the world the way it is, cause I can clearly see. That all the things I judge are done, by people just like me. So 'til the birth of peace on earth, that only love can bring. I'll help it grow, by loving everything. I love myself the way I am, and I still want to grow. But change outside can only come, when deep inside I know. I'm beautiful and capable, of being the best me I can. And I love myself, just the way I am.

    i see that u like Terry Pratchet too and poems. im a poet and all i can do is dream till makes those dreams true. thank u for ur coment. its always good that someone that we dont know is there giving us strength. thank u from the bottom of my heart.

    I like your message of the day self concept is really battered by rules and condemnation and unrealistical ideas it seems that that is the only way the socializing agent can function and to take the time to praise yourself is golden time

    I like to praise myself in my ejournal sometimes because that is really the way I feel about myself and my ejournal is uncensored so I dont fear reprimand ha ha

    have a beautiful day lovely I think we often dont take the time to praise others
