Now the trick is – how to make it happened. How to be just about equally selfish and sharing, giving and receiving…does this awareness of the balance comes naturally? Or do we need to keep a book of bills in order?
And how does this works out:
For every giver there will be always a receiver yet for every potential receiver, there are never enough to give him what he thinks he should get…
Once again I also had to remind myself to set a bridle to my self-importance feelings. It is never a good thing to assume that if something means a lot to me, the same should equally means to others…people ARE different, you, selfish girl! And you thinking what you think they think is completely incorrect way of thinking…[~Got to work on that All-Self-Importance issue]
What is important, anyway? Is it important to be important in someone’s life or – in your own? The first could result in unpredictable consequences (we never really know about other people lives until we become important to them. Then we set up their lives on fire). The second option would have an opposite effect – we could find ourselves cut off from the world that mistakenly takes self-importance for arrogance.
Not much of a choice there, isn’t it?...Anyway, having overslept this morning, blinded by the unexpected sun blatantly striking directly in my eyes while driving (unexpected - for I would normally drive to work while sun is not that much up yet and for it is pretty unusual for the sun to confuse the seasons and climb to shine on us here in the middle of November, as if it was the middle of a July)…anyway…hmmmm…what was that, I wanted to say, I wonder…never mind…just - having been overslept, overblinded and oversluggish this morning…guess, that would be enough to say…
Oh, yes…the Poll…few entries ago – I’ve run a Poll for what’s Important in a Lover. You can view the results over there, of course, if you interested. I would just mention here, that main voters seems to put sex above everything else when looking for a lover (64%!)…the second comes money (23%)…now that makes me think, that it looks like when a lover becomes a partner, he/she suddenly looses all the money and all the sex drive (otherwise why we would go search for these things afterwards? ;-) ) LOL.
That was a joke, of course, this Poll, and you not supposed to take it seriously. Maybe we should now do another one to discover what is that we have, that makes us a perfect partner (as opposed to lover this time)…
