Dog's View
Wed Feb 25 2009

Sometime back in September I wrote something funny inspired by some wonderfully serious writing. It was a playful tease-joke in reaction, nothing more. I’ve almost forgot about it when archiving old stuff on my computer, I came across the page and thought to myself Hey, I can make a use of some of that! The whole story was about dog’s view on how to reach happiness, but of course, it all depends on whether you can release your “inner dog” to see the point more clearly…So, I plucked few bits from it, coz they felt relevant.

...The dogs see the world’s model with the dog in his center. Everything else swirls around bringing various things forward depending on the side it turned to, like kaleidoscope… dogs are happy because they feel being important in whatever circumstances…

…Everything which exists in the world is there because of me and for me. Being the center of your universe has so much potential to have your universe exactly the way you’d want her. What you think is a reality, will be. So think nice. Think nice of universe, think nice of yourself. The world is a nicer place because I’m here. It is very important to understand that happiness is unreachable. You cannot “have” happiness and you cannot “be” happy. All you can do is – “make” the happiness and “find” happiness in any corner of your world…

...Dogs are remarkably perfect. They do not stare in despair in the mirror. They don’t have reservations about how their tail looks like when wiggling. They never embarrassed to make a poo in everybody’s view. Everything they do is the natural way to do it. They do not suffer from low self-esteem and are blissfully unaware if they are short of brain cells. As far as they concerned, they are perfect. Nothing is wrong with them. Humans are so fragile because they think they are. They believe they are broken because…they use being broken as an excuse for not enjoying things. ..

Instead of the belief that they are a whole, capable and worthwhile human being, they struggle with the belief that there must be something inherently wrong with them, and that feeling of being less than makes them do less.

...Dogs never restrict themselves from getting the most from the moment they are in. They do not struggle contemplating whether they will look stupid or feel stupid or be casted off as a fool. Because they are not fools. They are whole, capable and worthwhile creatures! And so are you.
