A Tale Of One Very Intensive Travel
Mon Aug 06 2007

I am not sure what exactly pulls me there, but sometimes it happened that I feel the need to visit strange places for no apparent reason…Since I still have my in laws to entertain; it was a good enough excuse to get to the Land Where Fairies Live… I won’t write about this again, partly because I don’t feel like it today and partly because I wrote about Glastonbury so many times already, it doesn’t make sense to invent the wheel again. If anyone care to know, just follow the link.

This Saturday my travel wasn’t exactly smooth and according to the plan. It seemed as if the fairies of Glastonbury didn’t want me there, so they’ve been messing around along my journey, trying hard to prevent me getting to the destination. Honestly, something definitely has been not in our favour that day – as soon as we entered Somerset we managed to get lost…three times…and we’ve been using satnav too!!! How weird is that?! But despite of having a heated raw with my satnav gadget, despite of our maps telling us things different from the road signs, in the end of the day we did make it…three hours instead of two, but still we did it. Hooray to me, The Stubborn Adventurer! But then maybe Wizards of Glastonbury were just testing me…who knows…either way I had it my way. So there.

So we managed to squeeze into one day of Very Intense Travel three main destinations: The city of Wells, The Wookey Hole Caves  and Glastonbury . Again, all my delights about these places have been recorded years ago, and since people tend to be interested in other things anyway, I won't bother copy&paste.

Am being extremely couldcareless today, I’ll just share few pictures, worth sharing…sometimes words just don’t come to mind …sometimes words miss the right turn and gone elsewhere…Let’s blame this officially to laziness...

Chapter Hall in Wells Cathedral
