Anticipation
Sun Mar 06 2005

The best way to kill the time while waiting - get yourself occupied with the PrettyOccupying things...I've done enough of my fair share in this. Depressive timewasting is turning out into exciting anticipation...And I wonder, what's in store for me now?

Soon oh soon the light
Pass within and soothe the endless night
And wait here for you Our reason to be here
Soon oh soon the time
All we move to gain will reach and calm
Our heart is open Our reason to be here
Long ago, set into rhyme
Soon oh soon the light
Ours to shape for all time, ours the right
The sun will lead us Our reason to be here...

More Of Today
There is always a reward for those who patient. I am getting Master’s in Patience…At least that’s how it feels…I’m being rewarded for being…not myself. Of course I am not unique! Years and years I’ve been fighting with the Wind Mills of the "Ordinary Existence". Only to discover at last that there was never need for a fight. That my ordinary existence is ordinary to me only.

Sure I am unique. Tell me who isn’t? The trick of uniqueness is – to be this way for someone else. I found quite a few people I know to be unique. I believe this is because they show me something, that I do not posses, but that I greatly admire. They are unique for me, even if they underestimate themselves.

Every one of us is unique. Just not everyone can strip off natural shyness and come out to say to the mankind: "I am unique because…". And really it is only a matter of somebody’s word or encouraging glance that can make one to believe in their uniqueness. I’m unique because you can see me in unique way.
It’s amazing, how few ordinary words can make a difference in self-perception, isn’t it?

On a more materially-minded matters…
It was fun today to buy sun glasses and panamas, trying them on in the shop full of gloomy people in non-colourful winter jackets. [~makes monkey faces in panama]

Another test for my patience – just a week of waiting this time. In a week time I will be talking to the Pharaoh and wearing galabaya!

I like your entry about uniqueness. I don't have time to put much thought into it right now, but you've got me thinking (once again)! Something about when someone sees something unique in you (thay may call it "extraordinary", or something equally flattering)... how it changes your perception of yourself... why does it often take another to point out our unique strengths?

I'm getting excited for your upcoming trip!!
